A wild garden grew in a downtown block in Zagreb, protected by the walls of a former vinegar production facility. It is full of invasive plant species that thrive in isolation and are kept alive by a broken skylight.
A structure is introduced and fitted perfectly at the entrance of the garden and they create a new whole. The structure itself defies typology; is it a temple or a vestibule, a room or a building, an urban or an interior intervention?
The sole inhabitant of this new structure is designer and multimedia artist Silvio Vujicic. It is his downtown office, showroom, exhibition gallery and everything else.
The steel structure is veiled in reflective glass designed as a grid of a thousand images from the artist's archive. This endless continuum of reflections of the interior and the garden mean the project dissolves its own scale and becomes a vast territory.
